Professional Background
I studied Dentistry in Albania and, upon qualification, completed one year of service in the Greek Military, where I worked as a Military Dentist. This experience strengthened my clinical confidence and ability to deliver high-quality care in a structured healthcare environment.
After returning to Albania, I gained a further two years of clinical experience in general dental practice before transitioning into dental hygiene, where I discovered a strong passion for prevention and periodontal care.
Education & Training
My dental education and years of clinical practice have provided me with a strong foundation in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
I completed my Master of Science in Stomatology (MSS) at Albanian University in Tirana, which further enhanced my comprehensive understanding of oral health sciences.
Today, I apply this extensive knowledge in my role as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the UK, with a particular focus on preventive dentistry and periodontal health.
Knowledge & Clinical Skills
Having previously practised as a dentist, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to the hygiene role.
My key skills include:
Periodontal assessment and therapy
Scaling and non-surgical periodontal treatment
Preventive care and oral health education
Monitoring restorations and dental implants
Early detection of oral disease
I work closely with dentists to ensure cohesive and well-coordinated treatment plans, supporting patients in maintaining healthy, natural smiles through exceptional preventive care.
