CEREC CROWN CAMBRIDGE
The CEREC camera is a modern dental imaging system designed to scan your teeth by simply positioning it over the affected area. Once in place, the scan begins automatically.
This scanning method is highly accurate, comfortable for patients, and much quicker than traditional techniques, allowing our dentists to complete the process smoothly within a single appointment.
Once the image has been captured, your restoration can be designed and created immediately to precisely match your natural teeth.
How Does Cerec Work?
With CEREC® same-day restorations, treatment is completed in just one visit. No second appointment is required, allowing you to leave the practice with your tooth fully restored.
The CEREC milling unit is used to create your custom-made restoration. Based on the natural shade of your tooth, or a lighter shade if preferred, your dentist selects the appropriate ceramic block. Within minutes, the milling unit precisely shapes the restoration to fit your tooth.
Although single-visit dentistry may sound expensive, this advanced technology is surprisingly affordable.
In fact, there is very little difference in cost compared to conventional treatment.
