Your First Visit
We're Open 7 Days A Week
Your First Visit
We look forward to welcoming you on your first visit to Cambridge Dental Hub.
Our service, available 7 days a week, offers an outstanding level of care and attention at each Dentist and Hygienist appointment.
During your first visit, you will be asked to fill in some registration forms either in writing or on your smart device.
This can take 15 minutes, so we ask that all patients arrive at least 15 minutes early for the appointment start time. The forms cover the medical history and contact information.
There is also a consent form for our cancellation policy (48 hours, otherwise the deposit is non-refundable), and a form acknowledging that patients will be seen on a private dentist basis.
Once we have registered you, you will be taken to the treatment room where you will meet your clinical team.
Most appointments consist of an examination where we assess the teeth and gums. Many patients will need a radiograph to help diagnose their problems. And where possible, we will do the required treatment at the first appointment.
This is especially true for Emergency appointments.

You are then taken to a treatment room where the dentist and dental nurse introduce themselves.
We take a dental history and carry out an examination and perhaps take a radiograph and sometimes use an intraoral camera.
We make use of the latest computer graphics and have a fantastic dental program that can illustrate treatment options.
It can also help to how various dental diseases like gum disease affect the tissues.
We then discuss with you our findings and discuss the various options for treatment, these are all documented on a written itemised treatment plan which patients can take home.
At all stages, the patient is involved and we encourage them to ask as many questions as they wish.
